The message reads, in part:
“This large-scale exhibition is timed to a significant date, the 25th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance, which laid the groundwork for a major expansion of bilateral ties between Russia and Tajikistan.
“Over the past quarter century, relations between Moscow and Dushanbe have reached the level of alliance and strategic partnership. The two countries have established a substantive bilateral political dialogue, as well as productive trade, economic, investment, scientific, technical and military cooperation. Multifaceted interregional contacts and exchanges in science, culture and education are growing. Russia and Tajikistan are effectively coordinating efforts in regional and international affairs, including in the format of the CIS, the SCO, the CSTO and other multilateral organisations.”
