The Federal Law establishes special procedures for granting to compatriots living abroad land plots that are in the state or municipal ownership and located within the Far Eastern Federal District.
According to the Federal Law, a land plot is being granted for gratis use to a foreign citizen or a stateless person participating in the State Programme to Assist Voluntary Resettlement to the Russian Federation of Compatriots Living Abroad and their Family Members Resettling Together for Permanent Residence in the Russian Federation.
The said persons have the right to receive a land plot as their property provided they obtain Russian citizenship.
The Federal Law also establishes other special procedures concerning grounds, terms and process of granting to compatriots living abroad land plots in the state or municipal ownership and located within the Far Eastern Federal District.
