The agreement was signed in Sochi on October 17, 2018.
According to the document, the parties agree to coordinate their actions and join forces for achieving joint decisions to overcome the challenges and threats to regional and international peace and security.
The agreement stipulates that the parties support developing cooperation in the commercial, economic, military and military-technical fields; focus on infrastructure projects in energy (especially nuclear power), housing, transport, communication technology and mining; that they will further expand cooperation in areas such as tourism, science and education, as well as promote humanitarian and cultural ties.
