Working visit to Turkmenistan
Vladimir Putin arrived in Ashgabat to take part in the 6th Caspian Summit. A joint communiqué was adopted following the meetings of the leaders of five Caspian countries – Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
The President of Russia had separate bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Speaker of the Upper Chamber of Turkmenistan’s Parliament Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Iran Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
To conclude the visit, Vladimir Putin answered questions from the media.
