The message reads, in part:
“You can be rightly proud of the history of your enterprises, which have always safeguarded the nation’s security and made a significant contribution to enhancing the combat capacity of our Army and Navy. During the Great Patriotic War, the plant’s workers produced advanced types of armoured equipment and munitions for multiple launch rockets. We will always remember the legendary volunteer Izhora Battalion, which defended Leningrad from the enemy.
Today the Izhhora Plants are a major high-tech industrial complex, a powerhouse of Russian heavy machine building which manufactures equipment for the nuclear energy and petrochemical sectors. The plant’s workers cherish and continue the great traditions of their predecessors, successfully achieve their goals and work with great dedication.
I am confident that when the Izhora industrial site is transferred under Rosatom’s management, new horizons and opportunities will open up for you.”
