On November 4, National Unity Day, Vladimir Putin, together with representatives of youth and volunteer organisations, will lay flowers at the monument to Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky on Red Square.
The President will also visit the exhibition Ukraine: Seminal Tipping Points, opening at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall.
The exhibition’s 10 thematic halls with an area of 4,000 square metres cover a historical period from the formation of the ancient Russian state to modern times. The exhibition features unique photos, video materials, newsreels, maps, posters and numerous archive documents illustrating various periods of Russia and Ukraine’s shared history.
After the tour, the President will meet with historians and representatives of traditional Russian religions to mark the 10th anniversary of re-establishing the Russian Historical Society and the Russian Military Historical Society.
