With an eye to creating, by January 1, 2025, a spatial data portal of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to ensure the development of a programme of cooperation between the CIS member states in geodesy, cartography, spatial data, geoinformational technologies, earth remote sensing, cadastral registration, and registration of rights to property.
The instructions to the Government also concern the use of the Unified Digital Platform “National Spatial Data System” federal state information framework in the process of creating the portal and the authorisation of the public law firm Roscadastre to implement measures and carry out work related to creating the spatial data portal as part of the company’s international activities.
The relevant instructions have been given to the Foreign Ministry, the Finance Ministry, and the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr).
