In the rehabilitation department, the President was shown, among other things, patient treatment using a virtual reality rehabilitation simulator, while in the radiological and radionuclide diagnostics department, he visited the radionuclide preparation production zone.
In addition, the President familiarised himself with the activities of the Scientific-Industrial Complex of Personalised Medicine that allows physicians to conduct treatment with customised medications.
The Federal Centre for Brain and Neurotechnology was established in 2020 and is a leading organisation in the FMBA specialising in neurology, neurosurgery and the treatment of cardiovascular disorders. Bed capacity is up to 8,500 patients a year.
