The message reads, in part:
“The decision to establish the fund in 2014 marked a significant step towards deepening the strategic partnership and alliance between our countries. Over the years, the fund has convincingly demonstrated its significance and has confidently joined key financial and investment institutions in Kyrgyzstan, gaining prestige among business circles and specialised international organisations.
Currently, the fund is a driver of economic growth in Kyrgyzstan and helps consolidate its social sphere. It makes a substantial contribution to promoting integration processes within the Eurasian Economic Union. Since 2014, it has financed approximately 3,500 projects worth over $750 million. As a result, thousands of entrepreneurs across Kyrgyzstan have been able to implement their plans, creating over 10,000 jobs.
It is important to continue working in this area, actively helping to expand the potential of Kyrgyz industry, agriculture, the energy sector and the tourism industry. The fund should also assist Russian investors in actively developing joint businesses with Kyrgyzstan’s entrepreneurs.
I am confident that the activities of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund will continue to facilitate the comprehensive modernisation of the national economy and support promising initiatives in the real sector.”
