Mr Kozak reported to the President that the members of the Coordination Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) noted that preparations were proceeding as scheduled. The Deputy Prime Minister cited some relevant figures: over eight hundred separate permanent installations are currently under construction, more than fifty new businesses and 43,000 jobs will be created. According to Mr Kozak, special programmes regarding security and medical assistance are being developed, as well as a programme on the Olympic legacy and a programme to attract, accommodate and train staff for the Olympics.
Mr Kozak and Mr Medvedev further discussed issues related to the land withdrawal for the construction of Olympic facilities.
