The message reads, in part:
“The history of your renowned Academy dates back to 1900, when the Quartermasters’ Course, the first Russian military educational institution for training officers and officials of the Service Corps, was established in St Petersburg. Over the years, the Academy has made a remarkable journey, growing into a major educational and scientific centre. You rightfully take pride in the many generations of talented professors and lecturers, as well as, of course, your famous graduates, including distinguished scientists, military and civilian experts, prominent state officials and public activists.
Today, the Academy’s graduates continue these historical and patriotic traditions and make a significant contribution to the development of the logistical support system for the Armed Forces and to strengthening the country’s defence capability and national security. I would like to specially note their exceptional professionalism, courage and bravery they demonstrate during the special military operation.
I am confident that the Academy’s personnel will continue to successfully accomplish the objectives set before them for the benefit of the Fatherland.”
