This Federal Law is aimed at expanding the list of persons who may conclude contracts for military service. In particular, amendments to the Federal Law On Military Duty and Military Service stipulate granting stateless persons the right to sign contracts for military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and military units.
The Federal Law also stipulates relevant amendments to the federal laws On Defence, On the Status of Servicemen, On State Pension Coverage in the Russian Federation, On the System of Government Service of the Russian Federation, On the Savings and Mortgage System of Housing Provision for Servicemen, and On Citizenship of the Russian Federation.
