In particular, the Federal Law establishes a state fee of 1,000 rubles for the residency registration of a foreign national or stateless person in the Russian Federation, and 500 rubles for registering the said persons in case of their temporary stay. However, these levies do not apply to foreign nationals participating in the experiment on the implementation of additional mechanisms for the registration of foreign nationals, as specified in Federal Law No. 121-FZ of May 23, 2025, On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation and on Conducting an Experiment to Introduce Additional Mechanisms for the Registration of Foreign Nationals.
In addition, the new legislation raises fees for the state registration of vehicles and other registration actions, as well as for issuing a national driver’s licence, including a replacement for a lost or damaged one.
The federal law also establishes a state fee for the actions of the federal executive body responsible for developing and implementing state policy and legal regulation in internal affairs concerning the circulation of civilian and service weapons.
