In particular, the federal law amends federal laws On the Legal Status of Foreign Nationals in the Russian Federation and On Registering Foreign Nationals and Stateless Persons as Migrants in the Russian Federation. These amendments address local units of Russia’s Interior Ministry, regional executive bodies overseeing education, and local government bodies sharing information regarding the status of foreign minors as migrants when deciding whether to accept enrolment applications filed with educational institutions, to terminate their enrollment at educational institutions, as well as information on testing results as per Federal Law On Education in the Russian Federation.
