The President signed the Executive Order On Awarding the Name of Mikhail Kalashnikov to Izhevsk International Airport.

Pursuant to Presidential Executive Order No. 681 of November 28, 2018, On naming certain geographical landmarks after persons with special merits to the Fatherland, the President has resolved to name Izhevsk International Airport in honour of Mikhail Kalashnikov.
