At the opening of the meeting, the President asked about the progress of investment projects in Ingushetia, noting that the region has shown promising developments in this area.
Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov noted that the development of industrial sites with infrastructure has helped attract major investors. Among the projects underway are plants producing detergents and liquefied gas, the launch of an IT academy by a large business group Safmar, and the construction of a logistics hub by a major online marketplace Wildberries. In addition, work is ongoing on wastewater treatment facilities, as well as the reconstruction of the airport.
The Head of the Republic reported an improved economic situation, noting that the national debt has been reduced and the volume of unfinished construction cut by 75 percent. Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov also spoke about the priority given to supporting participants in the special military operation and their families, as well as the delivery of humanitarian aid and equipment.
Vladimir Putin stressed that the families of participants in the special military operation must remain under constant personal supervision of the Head of the Republic, and that this support should be organised on a systematic basis.
