The message reads, in part:
“Today we honour the winners of this prestigious award – teachers and scientists, authors and journalists, entrepreneurs, public activists and entire teams who, answering the call of their hearts, dedicate themselves to mentorship and the educational movement in our country. I want to highlight that your multifaceted work is exceptionally valuable as it broadens horizons, shapes a responsible civic stance among people, and especially the youth, nurtures their ambition to learn and grow, and strengthens generational ties.
I want to thank everybody involved in organising and judging this competition – first of all, the Russian Znaniye Society that established this award, the members of the expert commission, the expert council, and the honourable jury. Many of you are closely involved in the society’s programmes and thus understand how many resources, how much inspiration and commitment is required for educational missions. Of course, it is my immense pleasure to congratulate this year’s winners. I want to stress that the experience, talent and unwavering passion of all the participants in this project serve as remarkable examples to others and strongly demonstrate how one can succeed in studies, work, life and, through hard work, contribute to Russia’s overall success. I want to take this opportunity to also congratulate you on Mentor’s Day, which we marked for the first time yesterday.”
