The two leaders discussed issues pertaining to the crisis in the Middle East and surrounding Iran. Both sides emphasised the importance of continuing the political and diplomatic process aimed at reaching a compromise for peace that would take into account the legitimate interests of all the regional states.
Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the successful progress of the Russian-Emirati cooperation in politics as well as trade and economy. They agreed to maintain frequent contact.
Vladimir Putin thanked the Emirati side for their regular assistance in resolving humanitarian issues arising in light of the Ukraine conflict.
