In his speech, Sergei Ivanov noted that holding forums of this kind serves as an opportunity to openly discuss the problems in Russian business. According to Mr Ivanov, today, when Russia has become a full-fledged member of the WTO, it is imperative to have new models for business development.
The Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office identified several priority objectives: conducting large-scale technological refitting of all sectors of the economy, increasing global competitiveness, creating high-quality jobs, developing effective instruments for public-private partnerships, and fostering the best possible conditions in Russia for managing businesses.
