Mr Ivanov and Mr Pofalla had a substantive exchange of opinions on issues of further developing cooperation between the Russian Presidential Executive office and the German Chancellery. In this context, the politicians examined the current state and prospects of bilateral political dialogue, including at the highest level, and addressed topics in trade and economic cooperation with a focus on working together in the energy sector. The two sides also touched on the issue of visas between Russia and the European Union.
