The meeting participants reviewed the Expert Council’s activities over 2014 and set the priorities for their work in 2015. They include issues related to migration, strengthening the status of the Russian language as a means of international communication, and improving legal policy and laws in the areas of citizenship and migration.
Taking part in the meeting were the heads of Russian universities and research centres, representatives of the Foreign Ministry and prominent lawyers in the areas of constitutional law, state-building and civil law.
