During the discussion on the first item, Minister of Education and Science Olga Vasilyeva spoke about the state of corruption prevention activities at educational institutions and presented samples of relevant educational and methodological materials published by leading Russian universities.
In line with the regular practice of inviting representatives of federal bodies to their events, this time the Council Presidium members heard a report made by Deputy Minister of Economic Development, head of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography Viktoria Abramchenko on corruption prevention activities at Rosreestr.
The meeting participants also thoroughly discussed the state of affairs in budget financing. Minister of the Interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev and First Deputy Prosecutor General Alexander Buksman reported on the results of the work to prevent misappropriation as well as theft of budgetary funds. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin shared the experience of the Moscow government in building an effective system of financial control, actively introducing treasury technology in supporting state contracts.
The Presidium of the Council, which also has the function of the commission for settlement of conflicts of interest, considered a number of personal cases of senior officials and issued substantiated opinion reports.
At the end of the meeting, the federal government bodies were given targeted instructions aimed at further improving corruption prevention activities.
