Heads of research and higher education institutions, as well as leading lawyers in the sphere of constitutional and civil law, and state-building, took part in a meeting chaired by Chief of the Presidential Directorate for Protection of Citizens’ Constitutional Rights Tatyana Lokatkina.
The meeting participants reviewed a number of pressing issues arising from developing and implementing the Russian Federation migration policy, discussed the adaptation and integration of migrants and their families, as well as methods for assessing the demand for foreign labour, and the current rates and dynamics of offences committed by foreign citizens and stateless persons in recent years.
During its work, the expert council developed a number of proposals and recommendations.
