The meeting was attended by Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Irek Fayzullin, Deputy Minister of Energy Sergei Mochalnikov and representatives of federal agencies and Russia’s regions.
The meeting participants discussed proposals from constituent entities of the Russian Federation on measures required to ensure the stable operation of the fuel and energy complex amid sanctions.
The State Council commissions together with the State Council working group on economic issues and countering the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) are currently working on adding new components to the plan of priority actions to support the development of the Russian economy in conditions of external sanctions pressure, which was adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation on March 15, 2022.
The proposals considered during the meeting will be forwarded to the State Council working group on economic issues and countering the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) for further elaboration together with the Government Commission to Increase the Sustainability of the Russian Economy Under Sanctions.
The participants separately discussed issues related to alteration of trunk pipeline facilities during major road repairs, as well as the progress in implementing the Presidential instruction to develop state support measures for the coal bed methane extraction project in the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass.
