This year, the Presidential Grants Foundation allocated 9.8 billion rubles to support non-profit and non-governmental organisations, including 6 billion rubles that were distributed among the winners of the first competition in 2022 and also among the regions to co-finance their local competitions for non-profit organisations.
This year marks the fifth anniversary of the Presidential Grants Foundation, the sole government support operator for non-profit organisations in the Russian Federation. Since April 2017, the Foundation has held 13 competitions, providing support to 23,852 socially important projects through grants worth 49 billion rubles. The Foundation allocated another 3.6 billion rubles to fund regional competitions for non-profit organisations in 2021 and 2022.
