The meeting was attended by the Commission’s members, representatives of federal and regional executive bodies, national public organisations of the disabled and veterans, Russia’s Glavgosexpertiza agency and the Russian Railways.
The discussion focused on issues of increasing availability of transport infrastructure for the disabled and promoting assisted living for them.
Deputy Transport Minister Valentin Ivanov, Head of the Federal Agency for Transport Supervision Viktor Basargin, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection Alexei Vovchenko, Head of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology Anton Shalayev and Russian Railways Deputy CEO Dmitry Pegov reported on the first issue.
Following the discussion, a number of decisions were made and respective instructions were issued.
