The meeting was attended by Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolayev, Smolensk Region Governor Vasily Anokhin, Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Budget and Financial Markets Anatoly Artamonov, Chair of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes Andrei Makarov, Auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Natalya Trunova, First Deputy Finance Minister Leonid Gornin, State Secretary – Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Sazanov, President of OPORA Russia Alexander Kalinin, deputy governors of Russian regions for economic and financial issues, representatives of relevant federal executive government bodies, the expert community and businesses.
The meeting participants summed up the results of the Commission’s performance in 2023, set priorities for 2024 and discussed proposals on ensuring Russia’s long-term sovereign economic growth, as well as ways to limit corporate property and land tax increases.
Alexei Teksler reported on the results of the Commission’s work in 2023 and on the proposals drafted after the Russian Economic Forum in Chelyabinsk in November 2023.
Maxim Reshetnikov and Leonid Gornin talked about the current instruments of state support for the economy and the social sphere, the basic parameters for socioeconomic development, tax and budget policies, and the approaches to inter-budgetary relations used for drafting the budget for the next three years.
The participants discussed the presented reports and other current issues of inter-budgetary relations.
The Commission will consider the proposals made at the meeting in its further work.
