The Presidential Aide met with Chairman of the Zero Waste Foundation Board of Trustees Samed Agirbas and representatives of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Türkiye.

The sides discussed strengthening partnership in the sphere of water resources, with a focus on adapting the water sector to climate change, protecting water ecosystems, and promoting scientific and technical cooperation. They highlighted sustainable waste treatment practices that combine protecting water facilities with reducing the impact of waste on the environment. They also outlined new areas of cooperation within the framework of the UN Climate Change Conference.

During a meeting with a delegation of the United Arab Emirates, which included Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange of the United Arab Emirates Abdulla Nasser Lootah and UAE Ambassador to Russia Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, the sides discussed cooperation outlook in the social and environmental areas. They focused on sustainable development, the exchange of best practices in the sphere of the water and climate agenda, and a plan for promoting such cooperation with developing countries.

Based on the results of the meeting, the sides reached tentative agreements on the further development of Russian-Emirati cooperation, including within BRICS and on the sidelines of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, which will be held in New York in July 2025.
