The Prosecutor General’s Office presented the results of its performance under the action plan (“the road map”) for 2023–2025 in implementing Approaches to Combatting Illegal Activities in the Financial Market of the Russian Federation.
The participants discussed additional measures on countering illegal financial transactions related to the circulation of precious metals and stones proposed by the Ministry of Finances, the Federal Customs Service, and the Federal Assay Chamber.
Following the meeting, federal government authorities received specific instructions and recommendations on how to organise interaction, information exchange, and draft proposals on amending some provisions of the Russian Federation law.
