A total of 1,653 applications were submitted for the competition. Non-governmental non-profit organisations, nature reserves, national parks, and environmental teams from all regions of the country presented their initiatives.
In accordance with the decision of the Coordinating Committee, Presidential grants totalling one billion rubles have been allocated for the implementation of 164 projects that received the highest ratings following an independent expert review.
The approved initiatives will be launched on September 1.
Furthermore, the Coordinating Committee meeting adopted the regulations for the next competition. Applications will be accepted from September 1 to September 30.
The Presidential Nature Foundation was established on March 3, 2025, by resolution of the head of state.
