Meeting of the Coordinating Committee for Presidential Grant Competitions for the Development of Civil Society.

The Coordinating Committee reviewed the results of the first grant competition for 2026. Applications were accepted from September 1 through October 15, 2025. A total of 9,310 public initiatives from all 89 regions were submitted. The winners were 1,469 socially oriented non-profit organisations whose projects received the highest scores based on an independent assessment. The Presidential Grants Foundation will allocate 4.9 billion rubles to implement these projects. The total budget for the supported initiatives is 10.8 billion rubles (with the winners raising an additional 5.9 billion rubles).

The meeting of the Coordinating Committee also approved the regulations for the second grant competition in 2026. Projects will be accepted from February 2 through March 16, 2026.

In addition, the Coordinating Committee decided to distribute 2 billion rubles among the 84 regions that submitted applications for co-financing of regional support for socially oriented non-profit organisations.

These regions’ executive bodies or their authorised regional operators will be required to distribute their own funds (3.3 billion rubles) and the received co-financing through open and transparent competitions.

The meeting also reviewed the results of the 2025 evaluation of 3,157 previously supported projects: 92 percent of them were deemed successfully implemented, and 7 percent were deemed satisfactorily implemented. The Coordinating Committee also selected the 100 best projects from among those successfully completed. Updates on the projects, the regulations for the new competition, and the distribution of co-financing among the regions of the Russian Federation can be found on the Presidential Grants Foundation website: президентскиегранты.рф
