The meeting reviewed the priorities of the Russian Federation within the Group of Twenty in the context of the 2026 United States presidency. Following the discussion, approaches were defined for shaping G20 agreements in priority thematic areas: innovation, energy, international trade, economic growth, and deregulation.
Progress in preparations for the second meeting of G20 Sherpas, scheduled for June 29–30 under the United States presidency, was also considered. The upcoming event is expected to address key issues of multilateral cooperation and global economic development, as well as launch substantive preparations for the G20 Summit in Miami on December 14–15, 2026.
