The subject of the meeting being prepared concerns ensuring flight safety and aviation security as the most important condition in developing general aviation.
In particular, the meeting addressed improving the regulatory framework, identifying reasons for accidents in general aviation and developing measures to prevent them, training flight crews and equipping aircraft with automatic dependent surveillance systems, certifying general aviation aircraft and their use of landing sites.
Participants in the meeting included representatives from the Presidential Executive Office, federal executive agencies, Investigative Committee, Russian Prosecutor General’s Office, Interstate Aviation Committee, businesses and the public.
