Vladimir Putin congratulated members of the men’s national team Alexander Bondar, Ilya Zakharov, Roman Izmailov, Yevgeny Kuznetsov, Viktor Minibayev, and Nikita Shleikher on winning in the team scoring in diving at the 2017 World Summer Universiade in Taipei.
The congratulatory message reads, in part:
“The brilliant success of the Russian diving team was made possible by perseverance, hard work and focus on the result of each of you. You performed wonderfully and rightfully took the highest step of the podium.”
