Vladimir Putin signed executive orders awarding the 2016 Presidential Prize for Young Culture Professionals and the 2016 Presidential Prize for Writing and Art for Children and Young People.

Having examined the proposals from the Presidential Council for Culture and the Arts, Vladimir Putin signed executive orders awarding the 2016 Presidential Prize for Young Culture Professionals to and conferring the title of winner of this prize on:

Vera Lagutenkova, artist and art critic, for her contribution to developing art education in Russia;

Anton Shagin, actor, for his performances in classical and modern theatre and his film roles;

Viktor Shalai, director of the Arseniev State Museum, Primorye Territory, for his contribution to preserving and promoting historical and cultural heritage and creating new museum exhibits.

The President signed executive orders awarding the 2016 Presidential Prize for Writing and Art for Children and Young People to and conferring the title of winner of the prize to:

Vladimir Grammatikov, film director, for his contribution to developing national cinematography and the cultural and aesthetic education of children and youth;

Anastasia Rogakh (Anastasia Orlova), children’s writer, for poems and prose works for very young children;

Leonid Shvartsman, artist and director, for his contribution to developing animation art in Russia.
