The Federal law is designed to synchronise the organisation of election campaigns and to improve the voters’ electoral activity. The Federal Law also aims at removing unnecessary duplication of election commissions’ work and at minimising budgetary expenditures for the preparation and holding of elections at all levels of the legislative (representative) bodies of state power.
