The Federal Service for Technical and Export Control of the Russian Federation is a federal body of executive authority responsible for maintaining information security in key information infrastructure systems, countering technical intelligence, and technical protection of information, as well as a specially authorised export control body.
The Federal Service for Technical and Export Control is responsible for protecting state secrets and vested with powers to manage information constituting such secrets.
The Federal Service for Technical and Export Control is subordinated to the President of Russia.
