The Russian Government has been instructed, in particular, to approve the programme on developing nuclear medicine in Russia, and set the funds to be allocated for the programme’s implementation in the 2012 federal budget and the budget plans for 2013–2014 and subsequent years.
The Government has also been instructed to arrange talks with the European Union countries and the USA to organise Russia’s participation in international agreements on mutual recognition of clinical trials of medicines.
Instructions to the Healthcare and Social Development Ministry concern provision of paediatric care and use of medicines in paediatric practice.
The Industry and Trade Ministry has received instructions on developing and organising production of medicines and medical equipment and other items used in paediatric practice.
