The issues discussed at the meeting included the construction of facilities for the summit, the development of transport, energy, engineering and social infrastructure, and a plan of events to be held as part of Russia’s APEC presidency.
In addition, Dmitry Medvedev instructed Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov to submit proposals for the transfer of Defence Ministry lands located on the territory set aside for the APEC Summit in Vladivostok, under the jurisdiction of the Primorye Territory.
Before the meeting, the President inspected the Vladivostok airport complex, the bridge over the Eastern Bosporus Strait and the facilities being built for the APEC summit.
