Most of the 2011 money (86.6 percent) was spent on supporting children’s institutions, with funding going to 192 such establishments over the course of the year.
The money was used to purchase specialised medical equipment to treat newborns with very low body mass for 160 healthcare establishments, and also on repairs and maintenance and purchases of equipment and furniture for children’s educational and social institutions.
Funds were also spent on supporting institutions for the elderly and for people with disabilities, on capital renovation for healthcare facilities, and on support for one cultural organisation.
