After the talks, an agreement between the Government of Russia and the Palestine Liberation Organisation, which represents the interests of the Palestinian National Authority, was signed in the presence of the two leaders, on the legal status and activities of the museum and park complex in Jericho.

The leaders of Russia and Palestine also took part in opening Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Bethlehem. A branch office of the Russian Federal Agency for the CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation will also operate in the Centre built by the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society on a land plot assigned to the Society in 2008 by Palestine on a personal initiative of President Mahmoud Abbas.
