During the top-level talks, the leaders of Russia and Tajikistan will discuss a wide range of bilateral issues, including trade, the economy, culture and security, as well as collaboration in the integration associations, and will exchange views on regional issues.
Following the talks, a number of bilateral documents will be signed.
This will be the second meeting between the two leaders in 2012 which is an anniversary year in relations between Russia and Tajikistan since the two states are marking two significant dates: the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (April 8, 1992) and the 15th anniversary of the General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and National Accord in Tajikistan, which was signed in Moscow on June 27, 1997.
