The President visited the centre with students and teachers from Baltic Federal University, whom he had met earlier in the afternoon.

In November 2011 at a meeting between Vladimir Putin, Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin Sobyanin Sergei Sobyanin SergeiMoscow Mayor and televised game show KVN host and producer Alexander Maslyakov, a decision was made to transfer the former Havana movie theatre building in Moscow to KVN. This gift was timed to coincide with KVN’s 50th anniversary.

KVN (Club of the Happy and Inventive) is a popular comedic televised game show where various teams (from universities, companies, etc.) compete to give funny answers to questions, improvise based on assigned topics and perform prepared sketches.
