The message reads, in part:
“I know that your forum is building up its potential and with every year is establishing itself ever more confidently as an important platform for business, creative and friendly communication.
I met with the forum participants two years ago. They were energetic young people, full of initiative and very involved, and they all shared the goal of achieving success and being of service to their country.
The state authorities place the utmost importance on all-round development in the North Caucasus and strengthening interethnic and interfaith peace and harmony in the region. We rely greatly on you in this major undertaking, on your sense of responsibility and sincere love for your home region. We hope to see new ideas and innovative projects from you, and get fresh and constructive views on modern problems and their solutions.
I am sure that this year’s Mashuk forum will be productive and will encourage open and informal discussion of a broad range of issues of concern to young people.”
The Mashuk 2013 North Caucasus Youth Forum is a social and educational project that seeks to identify and train promising youth in the North Caucasus, involved in politics, economics, science and innovations, social campaigns and mass public projects, civic initiatives, arts and creative projects.
