The message reads, in particular:
“Your service does more than simply ensure the safety of critical public facilities. Like your predecessors, you are entrusted with the Moscow Kremlin – Russia's national shrine, the symbol of the glory of the Russian state, its historical memory and spirit.
You can rightly be proud of the glorious history of the Commandant's units, the names of its employees and veterans. And today the Commandant of the Moscow Kremlin executes very answerable tasks. The best people are brought here and soldiers and officers have to take on special tasks. Performing service here, in the heart of our homeland, is not simply honourable. Above all it represents serious daily work, discipline and devotion.”
