At the meeting, held as part of the President’s contacts with representatives of national big business, Mr Potanin spoke about the progress of the Interros Group’s international project for Nornikel’s purchase of the American company Steel Water Mining, the major producer of palladium in the US.
The issue of creating a board of trustees for the State Hermitage Museum and the plans on improving the technical equipment of the museum were also on the agenda. In particular, the issues of broadening the museum squares, arranging new exhibitions and attracting sponsors were discussed. This project is known as “The Grand Hermitage”.
