Mr Mikhailov told Mr Putin about the efforts to develop the Yak-130 combat trainer and other aircraft-industry projects.
Mr Putin and Mr Mikhailov discussed the possibility of re-equipping strategic bombers, which, according to President Putin, must carry nuclear warheads and conventional high-explosive bombs.
