At an awards ceremony in the Kremlin, President Putin stressed that the armed forces, secret services and law enforcement agencies had once again shown convincingly that they can act professionally and effectively together.

Forty-nine privates, non-commissioned and commissioned officers of a special task force of the Main Intelligence Directorate and army reconnaissance received state decorations directly from the President. He awarded Orders of Services to the Fatherland Class IV, Medal of Services to the Fatherland Class II, Orders of Courage and Medals for Bravery.
