Five frontline SU-27 fighter planes performed aerobatics, followed by SU-24M and a couple of MiG-29 fighters.
After the air show, Mr Putin and Mr Berlusconi talked with the airmen who had performed stunts in the sky and looked at several planes and the largest Russian helicopter, the Mi-26. During the conversation, joint Italian projects in the aviation field were mentioned, notably joint efforts to promote planes on international markets.
Mr Putin then saw the Italian guest to the plane, which took him to Italy.
