33 young scholars – graduate students and holders of PhDs – received prizes for outstanding work in biology, geology, physics, chemistry, cosmology, philosophy and technical sciences.
Among them are groups of scientists who received prizes for developing planar ultrahigh frequency devices on the basis of high-temperature conductors; for modeling and manufacturing elements of diamond diffraction optics for lasers; for studying damaged and destroyed constructions and technical structures exposed to powerful earthquakes, cyclic loads and hostile environments.
